So you want to make your own feminized seeds? Good choice. I did the chemistry so all you have to do is dilute and spray your plants to start crossing your favorites. One bottle of this concentrate is enough to successfully reverse a few indoor female plants.
- Store in a cold, dark area to extend STS efficacy.
- When ready to use, mix 1 oz of STS Concentrate and 3 oz of distilled water. In total, one 8 oz bottle of concentrate makes 32 oz of reversal solution.
- Only dilute with distilled water.
Why does it work? STS (silver thiosulfate) acts as a blocker for the plant hormone ethylene. High levels of this hormone drive the plant to express female characteristics. Block the ethylene, you will get more male charteristics, like pollen sacs.
WARNING - Wear PPE like goggles, gloves, sleeves, and a breather mask. STS may cause silver poisoning. It is unlikely that this product will cause a severe reaction but do not take any chances and protect yourself.
